The tiles are ideal for use in side-scrolling platform action games, although they could be employed in other genres such as puzzle games or top down RPGs. This is a very basic, user-friendly tileset. There are no autotiles or animations. It should be a great choice for level prototyping, game jams, or as a template for a more detailed and unique design. Each palette consists of 7 colors to give an authentic, vintage 16-bit/4th gen. console look and feel. There is an 8th "void" color not used in any tiles meant to act as a default background hue.
